If this option is active, then you must provide thumbnails for index pages. These thumbs should differ from full size pictures by a unique ID and be saved in a subdirectory within the directory which holds the gallery files. If this option is inactive, then the full size pictures are scaled down and used as thumbnails on index pages. NOTE: This program does not create any thumbnails for you, todays there are already enough 3rd party programs to do this job. However, an ARexx-Script is created to control the PPT graphic tool (see Thumbnails via PPT) if this option is deactivated. You can then decide to use the gallery as is with the down-scaled full size pictures, or you maybe use the script to create real thumbnails, then you can later activate this option and create the gallery again using the generated thumbnails. NOTE ALSO: The thumbs size shoudn't exceed 170x110 pixels, bigger ones are possible, but would expand the layout to more than 800 pixels. Because most people use a 800x600 resolution you should avoid this. The generated ARexx-Script is taking care of this rule automaticly.
